The area
Neighbouring Ambleside on the West side, Dundarave is a small but fascinating community bounding on 21st Street west to 27th Street, and from the Trans Canada Highway south to Marine Drive. Home to exciting shops, cafes, restaurants, and services.
Popular Dundarave Village is an outdoor community centre that has the relaxed atmosphere of a vacation destination. There are restaurants, coffee bars and shops along Marine Drive that Dundarave residents enjoy, as well as an old-fashioned service station. The Beach House at Dundarave Pier holds heritage significance because of its location for social gatherings during the early 1900s. It is the perfect place for a beautiful view, with an eye-popping perspective of Burrard Inlet, English Bay, Stanley Park, and the Gulf Islands.
